Library Atmosphere and Conduct:
- Respect others and refrain from disruptive behavior.
- Keep conversations quiet and use electronic devices with headphones./li>
- Do not leave personal belongings unattended.
Use of Library Facilities:
- Engage in activities aligned with library purposes.
- Treat library property with care and do not damage or misuse it.
- Weapons and firearms are prohibited unless carried by Law enforcement.
- Proper attire is required (shirts and shoes).
- No running, rollerblading, skateboarding, or similar activities.
- Bicycles should not block access to the library. Use the provided Bike Racks near the entrance.
- Do not block library entrances.
- No unauthorized sales, solicitations, or signature collections.
Food and Drinks:
- Consuming food or beverages is prohibited in the library except during designated food-related activities or programs.
- Food and beverages are especially not allowed at any computer desks or areas to prevent potential damage to electronic equipment and maintain a clean environment.
- Patrons participating in food-related activities or programs should be mindful of their surroundings and are expected to clean up after themselves.
Alcohol, Drugs, and Smoking:
- Alcohol and illegal drugs are not allowed.
- Smoking, tobacco use, vapes, and similar devices are prohibited.
Children and Minors:
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The accompanying adult is responsible for supervising the child.
- Unaccompanied children may be asked to leave, or will receive assistance in contacting their guardians if necessary
- Minors must leave before closing time.
Disruptive Behavior and Loitering:
- Behave in a manner that respects others and library operations.
- Loitering is defined as staying without engaging in library activities or resources.
- Library staff will address disruptive behavior appropriately at their discretion.
Library Programs and Events:
- Programs are offered for Children (0-12), Teens (13-18) and Adults (18+). Attendance requirements may vary based on the program and age group.
